Arizona provides a wealth of outdoor recreational activities, for locals, and visitors alike. According to the Arizona Office of Tourism, visitor spending directly generated $17.7 billion dollars in 2010, or approximately $48 million dollars being contributed to Arizona’s economy every single day.
KNST AM 790 and now 97.1 FM is announcing a new weekend show that provides an excellent opportunity for your business to capture part of this audience of outdoor enthusiasts of every background.
“Arizona Outdoors” is a one-hour weekend radio show which focuses on the multitude of outdoor recreational activities in southern Arizona. Hiking, biking, off-road, shooting sports, fishing/boating, camping, snow sports, birding, prospecting, and many other activities are highlighted each week. Entertaining and informative local guests discuss upcoming outdoor-related events, provide expert advice, gear reviews, and more.
The show is locally produced and hosted by KNST’s Murrow Award winning News Director Paul Birmingham, a Tucson native and UA graduate, with a lifelong knowledge of the area, and a passion for the outdoors.
Sponsorship opportunities are available.
