Rapala and Minnesota State Lottery Tip the Cash Scales

Minnesota’s highly anticipated fishing opener is just days away and Rapala, the world’s favorite lure, has cast out an extra boatload of excitement with the new Bass & Cash scratch game.

Rapala and the Minnesota State Lottery have joined forces to give fishing enthusiasts across the state a chance to reel in a fortune when they purchase Bass & Cash, a new $2 scratch ticket that offers instant cash prizes up to $20,000, and $500 Rapala gift cards for second-chance drawings.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Minnesota State Lottery,” said Tom Mackin, president of Rapala USA. “As a Minnesota-based company, the Bass & Cash scratch game will not only build on the excitement of the fishing opener but also the thrill of anglers stopping at local sporting goods stores as the pick up their favorite Rapala lure and get ready to land walleyes on lakes throughout the state.”

Now available, Bass & Cash is conveniently offered statewide at hundreds of convenience stores as anglers pick up their fishing licenses.

Even if players don’t see winning symbols when they finish scratching their tickets, they can still walk away winners. Players may enter non-winning Bass & Cash tickets online at LuckyMN.com for a chance to win Rapala lures and gear. Second-chance drawings will be held four times between May and October 2012. During each drawing, a handful of lucky participants will receive great prizes, including three $500 Rapala gift cards and 10 Bass & Cash prize packs.
