Indiana State Parks and Reservoirs Have Jobs Available

Need a job? Want it to be at a state park? Meeting both needs is more likely than you may think.

A number of state parks across Indiana have immediate seasonal needs that they are struggling to fill. One is probably near you.

Opportunities include lifeguarding, groundskeeping, cleaning and maintenance, and working as a gate attendant or security guard.

  • Brown County State Park in Nashville needs eight to 10 lifeguards. Call (812) 988-6406.
  • Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City needs three Young Hoosier Conservation Corps workers and three laborers. Call (812) 937-4710.
  • Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis needs two seasonal laborers for groundskeeping, facility cleaning and maintenance. Call (317) 591-0904.
  • Monroe Lake in Bloomington needs two intermittent laborers and a third-shift gate attendant. Call (812) 837-9546.
  • Prophetstown State Park in West Lafayette needs a third-shift gate attendant to work Wednesdays through Sundays. Call (765) 567-4919.

Check at the state park, reservoir or state forest nearest you to see if other vacancies exist.
