“Struttinbucks’ The Juncture,” a contemporary television series devoted to the expressions of the authentic hunting experience, has signed an agreement with the Pursuit Channel to anchor the network’s Q3-4 Thursday night primetime periods through December 2013.

“The Juncture promises to move the genre up and forward,” said Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit Channel.  “Like several of our newest and most important shows, ‘The Juncture’ nobly exemplifies the ambitiousness of the best of raw-element storytelling, of how important the skills of independent filmmaking can be when welded to the difficulties of producing hunting television under completely free-range conditions.”

Centered in Arkansas’s iconic Ozark Mountains, with traveling adventures throughout the Midwest, ‘The Juncture’ follows the big- and small-game hunting fascinations of Heath Graham, Brandon Hunt, Charlie Parton and Matt Cowell.  “Using a right-there-with-us style, a technique that puts viewers in the moment— at juncture—with our hosts, the goal is to honor and celebrate the responsibility of hunter to hunted,” said Cowell.  “There is also the unique texture of the music, a special proprietary soundtrack by a national collection of performers and songwriters along with some of the talent from right here in Struttinbucks’ Russellville, Arkansas hometown.”

An accounting of new-media promotion confirms that the primetime premier of ‘The Juncture’ on Pursuit Channel is a partnership of consequence.  Southface Media Group (www.southfacemedia.com), the company that produces the show, a state-of-the-art companion digital magazine titled “In Focus,” and short films and commercials for the likes of Arctic Cat and Carbon Express, reports more than 83,000 views on YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook for the show’s 2012 video teaser.

Beginning June 17, 2012, Struttinbucks’ The Juncture will appear three times weekly on Pursuit Channel:  Thursdays @ 8:00P EST, Saturdays @ 10:30A and Wednesdays @ 2:30P.
