Video: New World Record for BASE Jumping

Valery Rozov, a Russian climber and BASE jumper (or BASE climber as he likes to call himself), has just jumped off a mountain in the Himalayas and into the record books. On May 25th Rozov jumped from the summit of Mount Shivling in the Indian Himalayas, a height of over 21,000 feet, and landed safely at a height slightly under 14,000 feet, setting the new record for BASE jumping at about 7,000 feet.

During the 90 second jump Rozov achieved speeds of nearly 125 mph. Check out the amazing video shot from his helmet cam.
