Video: Water Ski Racing at 120 MPH in Australia’s Dash for Cash

During Australia’s Mildura 100 Dash for Cash race, the Top Gun water skiing team hit speeds in excess of 120 MPH (200 KMH). In the race, two people drive and pilot the boat while two water skiers zoom past the coast line of a designated race course.

The skiers do not hold onto the rope as traditional skiers do, but rather the rope tethers them by wrapping around their waists. The Top Gun team made it to finish line in 4 minutes, 50 seconds to claim second place at the 2012 race.
