It’s the author of Fast and Furious: Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-up, a 2012 Paralympic pistol shooter, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
As the news editor at www.townhall.com, and contributing editor to Townhall Magazine, Katie Pavlich has been investigating the Fast and Furious scandal for quite awhile. Pavlich has recently written a book using her research about the scandal and subsequent cover-up called Fast and Furious: Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-up, and she visits Gun Talk to discuss the book, and recent updates to the story. You can order the book by visiting http://guntalk.com/site113.php.
Named USA Shooting’s 2011 Paralympic Athlete of the Year, Eric Hollen made USA Shooting history by winning a slot for the 2012 Paralympic Games with his performance in the IPC World Cup in Sydney, Australia. This is the first time a U.S. Paralympic pistol shooter qualified for the Games. “After a traumatic injury, the disability becomes the sole focus; through sport and school, the injured have an opportunity to shift their paradigm from disability to ability,” Hollen said. “Real athletes persevere. I am truly honored to be able to represent my country in the 2012 Paralympic Games.” Hollen also helps newly injured veterans through a program called the Care Coalition. More information is at http://www.socom.mil/Care%20Coalition/Default.aspx. To read up on Eric Hollen, visit http://www.usashooting.org/library/USAS_News/Hollen_article.pdf. The 2012 Paralympic Games in London will be held August 29th to September 9th: For the schedule, visit http://www.london2012.com/paralympics/sports/.
