With the London 2012 Olympic Games only a month away, the USA Shooting Team and the Shooting Industry Masters have teamed up in a final push for Olympic gold.
Six members of the USA Shooting Team will be at this year’s Masters, helping raise money for USA Shooting through the Masters’ Rent-A-Ringer program, and instructing beginning shooters in a Masters First Shots Orientation.
“Novice shooters attending the Shooting Industry Masters will have an opportunity to learn from some of the best shooters in the world,” said Shari LeGate, Shooting Industry Masters event manager.
In addition to assisting at the Masters First Shots seminar, USA Shooting Team members are also offering up their shooting skills — for a price. Through the Rent-A-Ringer Program, teams may place bids to “rent” a USA Shooting Team member to enhance their team’s shooting success while supporting the organization that represents the U.S. around the world and in London this summer.
“Teams will have a decisive edge when they add a member of the USA Shooting Team to their squad,” LeGate said. “Plus, all proceeds from the Rent-A-Ringer program help the team on their Olympic journey.”
The 10th Annual Shooting Industry Masters, owned and operated by FMG Publications, will take place July 20-21 at the Rockcastle Shooting Center, Park Mammoth Resort, in Park City, Ky. Joining over 375 members of the industry at the Masters are USA Shooting Team members Jacob Turner, Collin Wietfeldt, Jaiden Grinnell, Amy Sowash, Matt Wallace and Brian Beaman.
