Savage Outdoors Returns for a Fourth Season with All New Episodes on Sportsman Channel

Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman brings audiences an all-new season of Savage Outdoors. The exclusive new series follows hosts Mike Stroff, Jamie and Jacob Satterfield and the rest of the pro-staff as harvest countless big game animals in North America. The Savage Outdoors series details the full experience of the hunt from start to finish. The unforgettable show airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT during the season of “Made in America,” which offers 575 hours of new content across 100 different series for the network’s Q3 lineup.
Savage Outdoors is not an average hunting program; viewers will experience everything the hosts and guests go through as they pursue big game. From deciding where to hunt, choosing the right outfitters, traveling, scouting and the full hunting experience, audiences will get the full “treatment” of Savage Outdoors. The hunting locations for season three include big game hunting in Wyoming and a memorable mountain goat hunt in British Columbia.
“We are very excited about our fourth season of Savage Outdoors!” said Mike Stroff, Co-host of Savage Outdoors. “We have put together the best season of big game hunting to date! We take two Boone and Crockett whitetail bucks on film along with some other great whitetails, two “giant” moose in British Columbia, a Boone and Crockett mountain goat in BC, two giant Alberta mule deer and some “monster” elk in Colorado! This list goes on and on and we truly had our best year filming and can’t wait to share it with our viewers this fall.
Mike Stroff was born on Camp Lejeune Marine Corp base in Jacksonville, NC. He started in the outdoor industry at a very young age. His family owned and operated Flatwoods Outfitters, which was a shooting complex for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and also had 3D archery ranges. During his college years at East Carolina University, Mike spent his summers working at the lodge learning the ins and outs of the commercial hunting business. Upon graduation from college, he moved back to South Carolina and started Black River Plantation specializing in hog, deer and turkey hunting. Mike is married to Christina Stroff and couple has a daughter, Amelia. They call South Texas home.
