Video: Rush Sturges Tests the New Dagger Jitsu Freestyle Kayak

Rush Sturges is a filmmaker, musician, and one of the world’s most respected whitewater kayakers. Before turning 18, he won the Junior World Championship for freestyle kayaking and since turning pro he has represented the United States at the Freestyle Kayaking World Championships twice.

Recently he took some time to put Dagger’s brand new kayak, the Jitsu Freestyle, through its paces on Canada’s Skooumchuck narrows, the Ottawa and St. Lawrence Rivers, and at the Maruia Falls.

Dagger has yet to release the details on what this video suggests will be an amazing new kayak.
