CZ-USA Sponsors IDPA’s 2012 National Championships

Firearms maker CZ-USA will be a gold level sponsor of the upcoming International Defensive Pistol Association’s 2012 National Championships taking place September 19-22 in Oxford, N.C., according to an announcement made today by IDPA officials.
“With shooters from across the country preparing for this year’s IDPA National Championships, we’re pleased to have such a strong response from the firearms industry and are particularly grateful for the generous support of CZ-USA, a company whose products are well known within the global shooting sports community,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.
CZ-USA joins previously announced major sponsor, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, in supporting the championships. As part of their match support CZ-USA will host one of the expo shooting bays during the competition. Matthew Mink, a member of the CZ-USA Shooting Team and a former IDPA National Champion, will also represent CZ-USA in the competition.
“The top defensive competitors in the country gather at the IDPA National Championships to pit their skills and equipment against each other. CZ-USA is proud to once again be involved in the match,” said Jason Morton of CZ-USA.
The IDPA National Championships is the pinnacle event of the IDPA competitive season and will take place at The Range in Oxford, N.C., where more than 300 top shooters will be vying for the coveted title of National Champion in Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Stock Service Revolver and Enhanced Service Revolver, the five divisions in IDPA competition.
