Lindbergh Lake Temporarily Closed to Public Access Because of Air Tanker Activity for the Condon Mountain Fire

An Emergency Order restricting all public activities on Lindbergh Lake in Missoula County is in effect for August 20 and 21. This order was implemented to allow safe operation for fixed-wing air tankers to collect water from the lake to dump on the Condon Mountain Fire. This restriction is in the interest of safety of the public and of the fire fighting and transport personnel.
