North American Hunting Club, the premier community for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, is honored to celebrate 25 years of giving back with Wildlife Forever,  America’s leading all-species nonprofit conservation organization. Wildlife Forever was established and funded by North American Hunting Club and North American Fishing Club in 1987. Today, Wildlife Forever works with conservation groups and state and federal agencies and has been involved in more than 1,000 projects across the U.S.

The 25 year partnership between North American Hunting Club (NAHC), North American Fishing Club (NAFC) and Wildlife Forever has generated an increased awareness in conservation projects within the conservation community. This partnership has also established a relationship amongst the organization that educates sportsmen of all ages. NAHC and NAFC are part of the North American Media Group, whose mission is to engage and educate members how to be better in whatever their chosen passion is via magazines, TV shows and digital resources.

Wildlife Forever’s conservation projects focus on: habitat, wildlife and fish management, research and conservation education.  Signature award-winning programs include the Threat Campaign™, educating hunters, anglers and all recreational users to stop the spread of invasive species, and the State-Fish Art® Contest, a nationwide competition teaching aquatic education through the arts.

“Our staff and members’ involvement in conservation issues is more critical today, especially during these challenging times,” said Gordy Krahn, Editor-in-Chief for North American Hunter.  “North American Hunting Club and Wildlife Forever members have always joined together to help fish and wildlife conservation efforts, which is why we donate more than $200,000 of media every year to help spread the message of stewardship.”

“I want to thank each and every one of the NAHC and NAFC members for helping Wildlife Forever along the path over the years,” said Douglas Grann, President and CEO.  “I am thankful for the foresight and contributions of everyone who played a role in making Wildlife Forever a national conservation success.”

North American Hunting Club and its members continually give back with other programs throughout numerous hunting and fishing conservation groups. “We are stewards of the land and we share that responsibility with our members,” continued Krahn. “Our employees are avid conservationists as well; many are members of local hunting, shooting or trapping chapters and volunteer their own time to ensure our traditions are carried on.”

NAHC and NAFC are also sponsors of National Hunting & Fishing Day, which is always scheduled the fourth Saturday in September. National Hunting & Fishing Day is the official federal commemoration of hunters, anglers and conservation.
