Video: Rescue of Baby Moose Garners Media Attention

It took seven months for the Canadian TV series Let’s Go Outdoors to gain the attention it deserved for a daring rescue of a baby moose whose leg was wrapped in barbed wire fencing. Now, various news organizations like iNews880, Silo Breaker and most notably, United Kingdom’s Daily Mail, have been praising the show’s camera crew and a Fish and Wildlife officer who released the calf from fencing that could have killed the animal or severely damaged its leg.

The clip is part of the very first episode of Let’s Go Outdoors, a 13-week series dealing with conservation and wildlife. This particular moose was found near the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada between Edmonton and Galgary. To skip to the moose rescue, begin watching at 11:07.
