Officials to Honor Conservation Efforts of Ohio Farmers

Public invited to attend ceremony on Sept. 20

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will honor five farm families dedicated to conservation on Thursday, Sept. 20 at the 50th annual Farm Science Review in London.

The Conservation Farm Family Awards program has recognized Ohio farm families since 1984 for their exemplary efforts in conserving soil, water, woodland and wildlife and other natural resources on the land they farm. Since its inception, ODNR has awarded 151 farm families with this prestigious honor.
