The Opening date of the archery season for deer and turkey in the state of Maine will be September 27^th, 2012. The date of Sept. 29^th listed in the hunting book is NOT correct. Again, the opening date of the archery season for deer and turkey in the state of Maine is September 27^th. The Department regrets any confusion this may have caused.
