Glenn Shelby, Multi-time State, National and World Champion IDPA competitor, can now add a second a IDPA National title to his resume after defeating Smith & Wesson Factory shooter Dave Olhasso in a close match at the 2012 IDPA National Championship, located at “The Range” in Oxford NC this past weekend.

Shelby, sponsored by Wilson Combat had a total time of 248.48 seconds and 44 points down for the match while shooting his Wilson Combat CQB Elite 1911, to Olhasso’s 250.23 and 42 points down. Shelby’s accurate shooting and error free stages is what made the difference and allowed him to bring home yet another title for the Wilson squad at the premier IDPA match of the year.

2012 has been a successful season for the shooter hailing from Aztec NM, who in addition to this National championship repeated as CDP Division Champion at the Colorado and New Mexico IDPA State Championships and finished 2nd  in Las Vegas at the 2012 USPSA Multigun Nationals. Next up for Shelby will be the USPSA Back to Back Handgun Nationals in Las Vegas NV as he makes a run for the Open Class USPSA title.
