Join Jeff Fuller and the crew from SportingDog Adventures this week as we hunt in South Dakota with real American heroes. Jeff hunts with the Wounded Warriors In Action organization, along with five purple heart recipients for the opener of pheasant season. During the episode viewers will hear first hand from the heroes the sacrifices they have made to ensure our freedoms protecting our country. The heroes and founder Lt. Colonel (ret) John Mcdaniel tell their story and how the organization utilitzes the outdoors to help them recover. The stories told by the heroes during the episode is both heart wrenching and inspiring as these men that gave so much are allowed time in the field to help them heal. The experience was truely humbling for our team at SportingDog Adventures and puts light on some of the horrific injuries, long road to recovery and our wounded soldiers face while keeping all of us safe.
SportingDog Adventures is in its second season on the Sportsman Channel, airing on Wednesdays at 3:00 am, Thursdays at 7:00 am and Saturdays at 5:30 pm. The show focuses on hunting dogs in the field and their high octane work. Don’t miss this week’s show as we highlight the Labrador Retrievers of Soggy Acres Retrievers.
