Colorado’s Roxborough State Park Naturalist Guided Activities in November

Come join the fun, learn about nature and watch Roxborough State Park change with the season. Park naturalists will lead you on a journey of discovery through our guided hikes and activities. Programs are free, but please remember that all vehicles entering the park must purchase a $7 daily pass or display a valid annual pass. Please note most programs require reservations. 11/3/2012: Junior Naturalist: Geology Hike
Join naturalist Roger Dowell on a hike to learn about the geology of Roxborough State Park. You will learn answers to the geology questions in your Junior Naturalist booklet. Join naturalist Deb Wright for a hike on the South Rim trail. See beautiful views of Roxborough’s landscape from the summit. This is a moderate three-mile round trip hike and will lift you physically, mentally and spiritually. Dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.
