Colorado’s Roxborough State Park Naturalist Guided Activities in November

Come join the fun, learn about nature and watch Roxborough State Park change with the season. Park naturalists will lead you on a journey of discovery through our guided hikes and activities. Programs are free, but please remember that all vehicles entering the park must purchase a $7 daily pass or display a valid annual pass. Please note most programs require reservations. 11/3/2012:  Junior Naturalist: Geology Hike

Join naturalist Roger Dowell on a hike to learn about the geology of Roxborough State Park.  You will learn answers to the geology questions in your Junior Naturalist booklet. Hike the Fountain Valley trail to this nationally registered historic home.  Meet naturalist at trail head.

Join naturalist Deb Wright for a hike on the South Rim trail. See beautiful views of Roxborough’s landscape from the summit. This is a moderate three-mile round trip hike and will lift you physically, mentally and spiritually. Dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.
