Strike one, your parachute’s line twists–which could ultimately be fatal if not immediately undone or cutaway. Strike two, your skydiving partner crashes into your open parachute, you detach it and now you’re tumbling at about 120 miles per hour toward the earth’s surface. But it takes three strikes until you’re out of this world. Luckily, this skydiver didn’t get a third strike; his final option for staying alive proved to be the lifeline he needed.
