Waterfowl Hunting 101 Seminar in Montrose, Colorado

If you’ve ever wanted to learn the fine points of waterfowl hunting, plan to attend a seminar on Dec. 1 in Montrose. The class will run from noon to 4:30 p.m.
Experts from Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Montrose chapter of Ducks Unlimited will provide instruction on all aspects of hunting waterfowl. Participants will learn about: hunting tactics, use of dogs, calling, bird identification, setting decoys and more. The seminar will also include field demonstrations.
The class will start with classroom instruction at the Parks and Wildlife office in Montrose and then move to an outdoor location for the field work.
