Gerber to Kick Off Hello Trouble Tour

Gerber, a leading global supplier of personal outdoor, tactical and industrial gear, has announced its cross-country Hello Trouble Tour. Launching from Gerber’s hometown of Portland, Oregon, the Hello Trouble Tour seeks to deliver a custom brand experience in partnership with select retailers across the U.S., while meeting, interviewing and mixing it up with genuine Trouble-seekers along the way.
The Hello Trouble Tour will feature a battle-ready; quad-four van nicknamed the Black Boar, which will serve as a home on wheels for a team of six Gerber brand ambassadors. A socially enabled road trip, Gerber will document the journey through videos, photos and blog posts using a variety of social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). All of these channels will aim to invite participation from Gerber fans and consumers through the #HelloTrouble hashtag.
“This nation is a collection of rugged, strong and diverse people, places and experiences, and many of the pillars that help to form our United States of America are core tenets of the Gerber brand,” said Gerber Senior Brand Manager Joe Mattson. “In launching the Hello Trouble Tour we want to celebrate and showcase not only our brand and retail partners, but an unfiltered view of what makes this country truly great.”
Gerber’s Hello Trouble Tour will Pop-Up at select retail locations in and around Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas and both Hamburg and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The tour will culminate in New York City where Gerber will participate in the famous Pop-Up Flea, an annual celebration of U.S. made goods where Gerber will showcase and sell some of the many knives and tools made in its Portland, OR facility.
