The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife invites interested archers and others to learn more about an archery park to be built on Denman Wildlife Area in Central Point. A public meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 26 from 6pm – 7pm at the ODFW office, 1495 E Gregory Road, Central Point.
The archery park will feature a six-target beginner’s range, a 10-target general range out to 90 meters, and a bow hunting range with elevated platform. Recreational archers and bow hunters of all ages and abilities will be able to practice their skills. The park will be family-friendly with a covered gathering area and restrooms.
Construction plans are still being developed and the park will be built in phases. It will be located on East Gregory Road, just south of the ODFW office and Denman Wildlife headquarters.
