Products and Pros Headline the St. Paul Ice Show for HT and Polar Fire

HT Enterprises and Polar Fire look to kick off the 2012-2013 ice season by showing off their premium product line up and have their professional staff available for you to meet at the St. Paul Ice Fishing and Winter Sports Show being held Friday, November 30th- through Sunday, December 2nd in St. Paul, MN.
HT has assembled a cast of ice fishing professionals from around the ice belt, all bringing their own innovation and experience, and several will be available to meet and talk ice fishing in the HT booth at this weekend’s St. Paul event! Meet ice fishing legend Tom Gruenwald, “Ice Man” Dave Young, USA Ice Team members Chad Schaub and Jeff Kelm, professional guide Dennis Foster and tournament angler Aaron Berg–all will be on hand to answer questions and showcase product. There may even be some surprise visits from other HT associates and pro staffers and will likely have some outstanding offers and fun giveaways, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
Tom Gruenwald is an ice fishing hallmark. You don’t have to talk to Tom for more than a minute or two to realize the passion that this man has for the sport of ice fishing. Tom now has his own television show, “Outdoors with Tom Gruenwald,” airing on Sportsman Channel, Wild TV and Midcontinent Communications, to not only share his knowledge but also the talented people he surrounds himself with. Tom will be in the HT booth all weekend to talk about his show or his fishing from experiences all over the world.
Don’t let his mild manner and soft spoken demeanor fool you, on the ice Dave Young is a “tightline” monster with a pension for picking pan fish waters apart. Dave will be on hand to showcase his techniques and teach the fine art of “tightlining” Michigan style!
The USA Ice Team is poised to win a gold medal this coming February as the U.S. will be host of the 10th World Ice Fishing Championship. Team members Chad Schuab and Jeff Kelm have been preparing to take on the world. Chad and Jeff have been on the USA Ice Team for 2 years running and traveled to Kazakhstan in February of 2012. With HT gear in tow, these two look to put some golden hardware around their necks and add to the U.S. medal count. Chad and Jeff will be at the St. Paul Ice Show all three days to answer your questions about international competition, talk about their experiences and share tips on how they remain successful on the ice.
The Dakota winds will also blow in one of the premier fishing and hunting guides in all of South Dakota. Dennis Foster will be in St. Paul to do a little bragging, considering the Dakotas had a whole bunch of ice last season, whereas much of the rest of the ice belt was thinking about pulling out boats. Dennis will share his expertise with anyone who stops to talk to him and demonstrate many of his favorite products, and we’ll guarantee anyone taking the time to visit will certainly learn a thing or three.
No need to steer clear of this berg, Aaron Berg, a.k.a. “Ice Berg” will be in the HT booth all weekend explaining how his cool under pressure attitude helped his tournament team take top honors in the Wisconsin Ice Fishing League and what products, tactics and techniques he used to do it.
No matter the technique or species, HT and Polar fire will certainly have the professionals on hand to help with product questions and give advice on how to make time on the ice safer, more comfortable and more productive.
