Humminbird is pleased to announce it has signed a deal with Fishhound.com to be the exclusive fishing electronics manufacturer partnering with the progressive social media company.

In this capacity, legions of Fishhound members—including nearly 400,000 Facebook friends—will have access to the most current product information and the opportunity to build points to test Humminbird products.

Fishhound’s Product Showcase allows companies to leverage the promotional power of the Web and the “viral” qualities of social media to instantly reach a massive audience of hardcore fishing enthusiasts. Fishhound’s Product Showcase and Field Testing Program already grant members access to choose, test and review products from other reputable brands like Rapala, Lindy, Strike King, Snag Proof, Gary Yamamoto and many others.

Through Fishhound’s points-based Field Testing program, members will now be able to earn the opportunity to test Humminbird’s latest electronics. That, according to Fishhound’s VP of Operations Rich Patri is huge.

These unbiased opinions from fellow anglers are much more believable and compelling than self-promoting ads.”
