The draw deadline for applications is 7 p.m. (MST-Arizona time) on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. Mailed applications must be RECEIVED by the department by the deadline. Postmark dates do not count.
A 2013 hunting license is required to apply for the draw, and may be purchased at the same time and on the same application form used for the draw. Licenses purchased on the same draw application forms will be mailed out only after the drawing process is complete. Licenses can be purchased online at the Arizona Game and Fish website, or in person at all Game and Fish offices or any of the 300 license dealers statewide. For hunting licenses purchased online, buyers must have working printers ready and print out their own license at the time of purchase.
Apply early and take advantage of the “correction period.” If there is an error, mistake or outdated information that will result in the rejection of an application and the application is received by the department on or before Fri., Jan. 18, 2013, the department will make three attempts within a 24-hour period to notify the applicant by telephone if a phone number is provided.
The print versions of the Pronghorn Antelope and Elk Hunt Draw Information booklets are expected to be available at department offices and at license dealers statewide by mid-January 2013.
