John Skrabo was named Vice President of Marketing for PRADCO Outdoor Brands effective January 7, 2013. He is responsible for providing leadership and management oversight across PRADCO Outdoor Brands’ (POB) marketing organization, including brand management, marketing services (research, marketing communications, promotions, advertising, training), and e-commerce functions, as well as the strategic initiatives, budgets, business processes and people assigned within those resources.
Skrabo brings more than 20 years of experience in the outdoors industry to his new position. He has owned an advertising agency that served clients in the hunting industry and has served as Director of Key Accounts for Realtree / Jordan Outdoor Enterprises, President. He was also CEO of Bad Boy Enterprises. Most recently, he was Brand Manager for B.A.S.S./ Bassmaster.
“John’s experience with marketing in the outdoor industry is vital to the growth of all of PRADCO’s hunting and fishing brands,” said Ron Ten Berge, POB President and General Manager. “He brings a sharp focus on hunting and fishing consumers and customer segments that is so essential to success.”
Skrabo will report to Ten Berge and is based in the EBSCO Industries Headquarters in Birmingham, Ala. He will work closely with all of PRADCO’s fishing and hunting offices.
