RMEF, Eberlestock Unveil Team Elk Pack

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is proud to announce the unveiling of the new Team Elk Eberlestock pack.

“This latest, greatest product is the result of a longstanding and trusted relationship between RMEF and Eberlestock,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of marketing. “We are proud to put the Team Elk name on it, but the pack itself stands on its own as one of the best designed hunting packs in the entire outdoor industry.”

“I am honored that we have an opportunity to produce such a quality product in support of RMEF,” said Glen Eberle, founder of Eberlestock. “We have been involved with RMEF for a number of years and looked for ways to expand and improve our relationship. This pack is a way to benefit both of us.”

Weighing a mere 6.8 pounds, the Team Elk pack has a unique set of best-in-class features, including fold-away rifle scabbard, built-in bow carrier, Intex tubular aluminum frame, dual full-depth spotting scope and hydration pockets, and grapple-compression straps. It also features zip-and-flip covers to the scabbard and bow carrier so that when not carrying a gun or bow, they serve as additional pockets. At 3,100 cubic inches (40 liters), it is the ideal hunting pack size. It serves well as a daypack but is also great for shorter multi-day trips and hauling game. It also has both front-loading and top-loading access.

“It’s one of the best packs on the market,” added Decker. “The marketing of the Team Elk backpack will help fund RMEF’s mission and conservation efforts. It’s a great deal.”

The Team Elk pack will be made available at retailers around the country and on the RMEF and Eberlestock websites. It will also be used at RMEF banquets and events. Eberlestock will donate to RMEF a portion of the purchase price of each pack sold.

Team Elk debuted on television in 2011, eventually earning the title of Outdoor Channel Fan Favorite New Series. The show focuses on all things elk, elk country, elk hunting and conservation.
