PrimaLoft Named Exclusive Synthetic Insulation Partner for 2013 Black Diamond Apparel Launch

PrimaLoft, the world leader in high performance insulations and performance fabrics used in leading outdoor and fashion brands, home furnishings, work wear and military applications, has been selected as the exclusive synthetic insulation provider for the inaugural launch of the Black Diamond Equipment apparel line, which will debut in Fall 2013.
The highly anticipated launch, featuring seven styles with PrimaLoft insulation, will initially feature a collection of men’s apparel and accessories made available direct to consumers via select retail channels and e-commerce.

Black Diamond Equipment will feature PrimaLoft ONE and PrimaLoft SYNERGY insulations in multiple styles across the fall 2013 line: Stance Belay Parka, Stance Belay Hoody, Stance Belay Jacket, Stance Belay Pant, Access Hybrid Hoody, Access Hybrid Jacket and Access Hybrid Vest.

With the launch of the brand’s inaugural apparel line, Black Diamond Equipment announces its certification as a bluesign system partner. One of the most renowned environmental certifications in the world, the bluesign standard evaluates each ingredient from raw materials and chemical components to natural resource consumption and the occupational health of the workplace. In 2010, PrimaLoft was awarded compliance with the bluesign criteria for environmental impact, and was named the first branded insulation manufacturer to obtain bluesign system partner status.
