Power Pole Renews Partnership with Texas Team Trail Presented by Cabela’s

As the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s builds toward the upcoming season, the impressive list of sponsors continues to grow. Most recently, Power Pole shallow water anchor systems, manufactured by JL Marine Systems, Inc, renewed their commitment for 2013 and will remain an official sponsor of all Texas Team Trail events.

The Tampa, Florida-based company has become an iconic part of the fishing industry over the past decade.  The ultra-popular Power Pole shallow water anchor has changed the world of competitive fishing by offering a technologically advanced boat-control system, giving anglers the ability to stop their boats quickly and quietly with the touch of a button.

Mike Hastings, Texas Team Trail tournament director, stated: “So many fishermen depend on Power Pole anchors. It’s a product that resonates with our Texas Team Trail anglers, especially. We’re excited to have Power Pole on board again in 2013 and look forward to growing our partnership for years to come.”

As part of the agreement, Power Pole will now offer $400 Captains Cash contingency money at all Texas Team Trail events. Anglers must simply register with the program and win a TXTT tournament using their Power Pole shallow water anchor.

“The Texas Team Trail is a great fit for us and we’re excited to offer our Captains Cash contingency program for 2013,” said Power Pole Vice President Robert Shamblin. “It’s a great opportunity to show our support and a perfect platform to showcase our shallow water anchor systems. We look forward to another successful season with the Texas Team Trail.”

The tournament circuit, designed exclusively for team competition, will kick off the 2013 season March 2 on Sam Rayburn Lake. The schedule includes four qualifying events, plus a year-end championship, taking place on legendary Falcon Lake, October 12-13. Registration for the Sam Rayburn event is already underway.  Anglers can secure an opportunity to pre-fish Friday, March 1st by completing their registration online, via phone or stopping by Needmore Tackle and registering prior to midnight on Thursday.

On-site registration will be held Friday, March 1st from 5-8pm at Umphrey Pavilion on Sam Rayburn Lake. At least one team member is required to attend. The tournament will launch Saturday, March 2nd at safe light from Umphrey Pavilion and weigh-in will begin at the same location at 3pm.
