Touring bass pro Mark Rose is one of those crossovers.

In 2012, he captured the crown on Decatur, Alabama’s Wheeler Lake, and has earned 6 FLW Tour wins since starting in the bass-fishing business. All told, Rose has landed over $1.6 million career earnings.
Rose, a Baptist Deacon back home in Marion, recently received the prestigious, inaugural “Sportsmanship/Leadership Award,” an honor presented by both the FLW and Goodwill. And in 2013, Rose became a proof-positive face of all things fishing for Walmart, as he joins the Walmart Fishing Team.
