Video: Thirteen-year-old Shooting Prodigy 3-Guns with a Bushmaster ACR

Katelyn Francis, 13, of Missouri doesn’t play many video games. In her words on Facebook, it’s not because she doesn’t like them, she just would rather shoot a real gun instead. Katelyn insists that she is a “girly girl” with a love for hunting, basketball, and competitive shooting with fully automatic ACRs from Bushmaster. We’ll take her word for it.

Katelyn started shooting at the age of five and fell in love with the sport. Luckily, she had a dad that was more than happy to teach her the ropes. Katelyn mainly competes in multi-gun matches and is keeping her future career options open. In her spare time she likes to go to shooting ranges and share pointers with older, slightly jealous enthusiasts.

The below video was taken at the Fallen Brethren 3-Gun in Texas. The guns used were a select-fire Bushmaster ACR, 12-gauge Benelli M2 and Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm Pro.
