Hunter Education Class at Colorado’s Lory State Park Feb. 15 to 17

Lory State Park will be hosting a free hunter education class February 15 to 17. Come learn the rules and regulations, wildlife species, and safety skills to hunt in Colorado.
WHAT: Hunter Education class at Lory State Park
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 15, 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HOW: To register for the class, go to http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/HunterEducation/CourseCalendar/Pages/HECalendar.aspx and click on the February 15 Bellvue course and select register here. Class size is limited to 16 people; registration is on a first come basis through the above web page.
The class requires participation through the entire three sessions, a multiple choice test, and the ability to handle a .22 caliber rifle. Bring a bag lunch for classes. If you have any questions, contact the Park at 970-493-1623.
