Indiana Naturalist Will Speak About “Invaders” at Bedford Library, Feb. 24
Invasive species will be the topic of “When Good Intentions Go Bad,” a presentation by a Monroe Lake naturalist on Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Bedford Public Library.
The naturalist will discuss why autumn olive, tree of heaven and the European starling were brought to the United States, the impact those species have had on native ecosystems, and how people can make a difference in the battle against them.
The presentation is at 2 p.m. in the library’s program room on the lower level. The Bedford Public Library is located at 1323 K Street.
