Tactical Products Group Taps Two Seasoned Executives to Drive Business Initiatives

TPG hires Richard Karst as the Vice President of the TPG Ballistic Armor Division and Chris Wheeler, Jr. as the Vice President of Business Development.
Tactical Products Group, Inc. (TPG), the full-service procurement sourcing and logistics solutions provider for commercial companies, law enforcement agencies, military and international organizations, have signed two new top-level executives to further enhance and further TPG’s global mission.
Richard “Rick” Karst, as Vice President, will spearhead the TPG Ballistic Armor Division. Drawing from a 10-year police career that included tactical training and firearms instructor, Richard comes with over 25-years’ experience in soft and hard armor solutions ranging from body armor to vehicle and aircraft armor systems. Working and designing systems for CPC, Ceramic Protection Corp., First Choice Armor, Armor of America and Owen Mills Fabrics, he is well known and respected in both the law enforcement and government markets.
Christopher “Chris” Wheeler, Jr. has joined TPG as the new Vice President of Business Development. With a background in law and an MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Chris brings years of his operational and entrepreneurial start-up business expertise to TPG. He’ll be responsible for growing the company while managing the operational side of the business.
