The MidwayUSA Foundation Announces a $3 Million Donation from Larry and Brenda Potterfield

The MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. and Scholastic Shooting Trust, a public charity established by MidwayUSA founders Larry and Brenda Potterfield, received a $3,000,000 donation from Larry and Brenda to assist in the funding for not only new teams, but also those teams with little to no money in their respective endowments.
The Foundation Board of Directors approved the distribution of these funds to 204 separate endowments. The allocation breakdown included 192 shooting teams each receiving $10,000, and seven state 4-H shooting programs as well as five newly established college curriculum shooting program endowments, each receiving $100,000 respectively.
The MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. works with shooting teams, conservation groups, and the shooting industry to raise funds in support of high school and collegiate shooting programs. Each donation brings the SST one step closer to achieving sustainable support for youth shooting programs.
