Taurus Holdings, a worldwide leader in firearms manufacturing congratulates pro-shooter Jessie Duff on her recent win in the Ladies Division at the 2013 USPSA Single Stack National Championship, located at PASA Park in Barry, Illinois.
With this being Jessie’s first run at competing in the Single Stack Nationals, weather and range conditions were not going to discourage her as she ran all 13 stages and winning four of them. “Going into the match, I was a little anxious because I didn’t know what to expect, never shooting this before,” states Duff, “but once I started shooting, I felt more in my element”! Jessie addresses her training regiment, ”Training for this particular match was very similar to how I train for other USPSA matches, using the same drills, but placing a greater focus on my reloads than I normally would, since I would be reloading much more!” As a result, Duff gives Taurus their first Single Stack National Championship win in the history of the USPSA.
“Words cannot express how proud we are of Jessie’s Single Stack win,” expresses Mark Kresser, CEO and President of Taurus, “her performance both on the range and in public simply reiterates the caliber of an individual she truly is and having her as a part of our Taurus family is an absolute honor.”
After the match, Jessie reflected back on her performance, “I shot a good, solid match and was very happy with my performance, but more importantly, the performance of my Taurus 1911 was flawless!”
