Gene Gelberger swept all 10 stages on his way to claiming the Enhanced Service Revolver division title at the 17th Annual Massachusetts State IDPA Championship, presented by Smith & Wesson.

Held last weekend at the Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford located in North Dartmouth, the International Defensive Pistol Association’s (IDPA) state championship match drew 120 top shooters, including Gelberger who finished with a final time of 251.87 seconds with 68 points down.

Second place went to Rob Lacroix, a Sharpshooter who posted a final of 352.36 (117). The defending champion Jerry Richard, classified an Expert, took third with 367.78 (69) while Ward Benner, a Marksman, finished fourth with 663.74 (157).
