Mississippi’s Roosevelt State Park to Host Youth Fishing Rodeo

Roosevelt State Park will host a youth fishing rodeo on Saturday, June 29. The fishing rodeo is open to youth 15 years and under; registration begins at 8 a.m. Roosevelt State Park is located on Highway 13 in Morton.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear, catfish bait, and stringers.

Fishing rodeos offer quality fishing experiences for young anglers in a controlled and safe environment. The rodeo locations are well stocked with catfish to make it easier for participants to catch fish. This rodeo is a great way for a family to spend quality time together.
