Leading Casual Sportswear Company is on the “Hunt for a Cure”, Donating a Portion of Sales from New Clothing Line to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Baltimore-based Buck Wear, Inc, is supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in its worldwide effort to raise awareness of breast cancer and fund the search for a cure to this disease that impacts the lives of so many women and families. In fact, through the sales of its newly launched ‘Hunt for a Cure’ line for women, the company has already pledged at least $25,000 that will help the BCRF spread its message and work towards the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
Corporate supporters like Buck Wear do their part to help the organization raise awareness year-round, and particularly bring extra focus and light to the message during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month – the month-long awareness and education campaign recognized worldwide by its iconic ‘Pink Ribbon’, which has come to stand for the fight against breast cancer. This important symbol is well incorporated throughout Buck Wear’s ‘Hunt for a Cure’ line for women – helping women hunters worldwide express their support along with their passion for the outdoors.
This popular line for women includes several styles from fitted T-shirts to fashionable hoodies that are ideal for showing support for such an important cause this October. One of several models in the series is the ‘Save the Racks Ribbon Deer’ shirt available in both Light Pink (#1134) and Hilconia (#1405). The design of the shirt says it all – featuring a trophy buck so cleverly and carefully illustrated strictly of the iconic pink ribbon logo recognized around the globe as the symbol for the fight against breast cancer. The words ‘Hunt for a Cure’ tie both passions together for a perfectly matched message of hope.
“We’re proud of our association with the BCRF and the significant amount of funds we’ve been able to raise and donate through the sale of our special ‘Hunt for a Cure’ line,” said President David Trapp. “Women across the globe who purchase from this line can take pride in the fact that they’re not only getting a stylish shirt that showcases their passion for the outdoors, they’re also supporting a great cause,” he added.
