Video: Bull Elk Chases Montana Motorcyclists

YouTube user Heather Leigh posted this incredible video of a bull elk chasing her and her boyfriend in Montana. According to the video description, Heather and her boyfriend Glen may have gotten a little bit too close to the elk during a ride from Missoula to Ovando on Highway 200. Towards the end of the video, the couple decided to speed up so the elk wouldn’t hurt itself by continuing the chase. Some strong language may be included in the video.

“I didn’t want the animal to chase us on the road and put it in any danger so losing it seemed appropriate,” she wrote. “I had enough excitement for one day!”

Perhaps the elk had mistaken the riders for a rival bull or an oddly-shaped cow.
