What do two adult grizzlies, three grizzly cubs, and five wolves have in common?
A bison carcass next to Yellowstone’s Lamar River proved to be irresistible to the predators, who offered photographers something they have never seen before. According to the Billings Gazette, over 125 people gathered to watch the strange picnic play out as each of the participants tried to eat their own fair share. The bison provided a meal over three days’ time last month, but the most interesting incident of the “feeding” occurred when five bears and an equal amount of wolves tried their hand at sharing dinner.
