Video: Tour Guide Narrowly Avoids Lunging Crocodile

Saltwater crocodiles are the largest riparian predators in the world. Their preferred method of attack is by ambush, which often involves throwing more than a thousand pounds of muscle and flesh towards unsuspecting prey. Thankfully, the attack fails to connect—and the guide doesn’t miss a beat in his lecture.

According to the video, the incident happened in the Adelaide River of Northern Australia.
