Savage Arms Introduces Axis XP Youth Model

Savage Arms expands its Axis II lineup to 14 models with its new Axis XP Youth rifle, a compact, lightweight gun that stays true to Savage’s well-established reputation for accuracy. This rifle sports a 20-inch black-matte barrel and measures 40 inches overall while weighing in at 6.8 pounds. It’s available in .243 Winchester or 7mm-08 Remington, and holds four rounds in its detachable box magazine.

As with any Savage firearm not built with an Accutrigger, the XP Youth’s trigger mechanism is not adjustable.

The Axis XP Youth is fitted with a synthetic stock, and comes with no sights. It’s drilled and tapped for scope mounts. This rifle sports a new modern look, and its bolt is designed for smooth, silky operation.
