Kimber’s Adirondack Compact Rifle Weighs Less than Five Pounds

The new Kimber Model 84M Adirondack weighs about four pounds, 13 ounces, and carries an 18-inch barrel, which makes it fast and easily maneuvered in a stand or when still-hunting thick cover.
The Adirondack is offered in 7mm-08 Remington and .308 Winchester, and features a stainless steel-barreled action with a full-length Mauser claw extractor for true controlled-round feeding and extraction. Its three-position wing safety is positive and quiet, and its match-grade trigger breaks crisply at 3.5 to four pounds. Despite its small size, the Adirondack’s magazine holds four rounds, plus the one in the chamber.
Its stock is finished in Gore Optifade Concealment in the Forest Pattern, which blends into almost any environment. The stock is molded from reinforced carbon fiber, styled with classic lines and a straight comb, and fitted with a 1-inch Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad to significantly reduce felt recoil.
The Adirondack’s standard features include a threaded barrel with protector cap, spiral-fluted bolt body, and hollow bolt knob. Further, its barrel and chamber combine pillar and glass bedding to ensure peak performance.
