Video: Girl Catches Big Bass with Tiny Pole

Sometimes you don’t need expensive gear to reel in big fish. This young girl, identified only as “Zoe,” managed to pull in a massive bass on what appears to be a tiny, pink beginner’s rod.

“While this little girl was fishing with her father, she managed to catch a fish nearly the size of her own body! No professional fishing pole required…” read the video’s description on Youtube.

Some skeptics mused that the girl’s father may have helped her along—namely by catching the fish himself and attaching it to her line—but we’d like to believe that this victory was all her own.
