Video: Sloppy Gun Maintenance Almost Goes Horribly Wrong

This is quite possibly one of the worst ways to empty a firearm we’ve ever seen. Just because you have a gun that looks like it’s cobbled together from random pieces of sheet metal and plywood doesn’t mean you should be lax on gun safety. If anything, you should be more careful.

Instead of pointing the gun in a safe direction, this man decided to empty this gun with the muzzle resting just between a young boy and another man on the hammock. After removing the magazine and giving the weapon a good shake, he pulls back the bolt, possibly expecting to eject the live round, but instead it slam fires. If the muzzle were just a few more inches to either side, this could’ve ended very badly.

What’s even more mind boggling is that the other man just shrugs it off like he’s used to it. If you have friends that consistently and “accidentally” shoot at you, you might want to consider getting new friends. At least the boy in the back knew it was a good time to leave.
