Video: Man Catches Anaconda Using His Leg as Bait

People can be pretty creative, especially if they are hungry. However, I’m not sure if using your leg as bait to catch an anaconda counts as creative or simply crazy.
The man in the video appears to wrap his leg in cloth before lowering it into the anaconda’s burrow. Sure enough, a large anaconda latches onto his leg and the struggle begins.
His companions helped pull him (and the snake) out of the hole where they are waiting to cut the snake off in preparation for their meal. While this may be an effective way of catching anacondas, we would recommend against it given the extreme danger involved.
