Video: Fearless Californians Paddleboard Next to Great White Sharks

Two men on standup paddleboards filmed themselves purposely getting close to a pair of great white sharks in Huntington Beach, California.

According the the video’s description, it was filmed last Friday and uploaded on Saturday. During the more than two-minute video, the men repeatedly submerge the GoPro camera, capturing underwater shots of the sharks.

The men continue to follow alongside the sharks, and at one point they are directly above them. The video ends with one of the boarders sitting with his feet in the water.

Even though these appear to be juvenile great white sharks, they still could have brought harm to the paddleboarders.
