The shortest barrel you will find on most AR-15s is 7.5 inches, but this two-inch-barreled gun is not most ARs.

For reference, the military’s M4 carbine sports a 14.5-inch barrel, which many believe offers the best combination of accuracy, velocity, and portability. The creator of this extremely short-barreled rifle (SBR) decided to throw accuracy and projectile velocity to the wind when he created this monstrosity. This barrel is so short that you can see the end of the bullet sticking out when a round is “chambered.”

Before you start asking “why would anyone do that?”, this was simply a proof of concept from the folks over at High Caliber Conversions, LLC. Enjoy watching what might be the loudest AR-15 in existence below.
